Obama reaffirms concerns about climate change in press conference. “Climate change is real”

Wednesday, November 14th, 2012

Obama reaffirmed his concerns over climate change in his first post re-election press conference today, stating that he plans to address it after engaging in wide ranging conversations toward finding possible solutions, while adding the caveat that any solutions must be consistent with economic recovery.

“…I am a firm believer that climate change is real, that it is impacted by human behavior and carbon emissions. And as a consequence, I think we’ve got an obligation to future generations to do something about it.”

“If … we can shape an agenda that says we can create jobs, advance growth and make a serious dent in climate change and be an international leader, I think that’s something that the American people would support.”
