‘Paris, 18 November 2015 – In reaction to the announcement of the non-authorisation of the climate march ahead of the Paris Climate Summit and mobilisations scheduled at the end of COP 21 Jean Fran\u00c3\u00a7ois Julliard, Executive Director of Greenpeace France, said:<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The French authorities say they cannot guarantee safety at the march,\u00c2\u00a0and so it will not happen. This is a source of huge regret, but we\u00c2\u00a0must respect the decision. Huge numbers were expected in Paris, but\u00c2\u00a0those people will not be silenced. We will find new, imaginative ways\u00c2\u00a0to ensure our voices are heard in the UN conference centre and beyond.\u00c2\u00a0And in hundreds of towns and cities across the world people will still\u00c2\u00a0march for the climate, for Paris and for our shared humanity. We stand\u00c2\u00a0for a vision of human cooperation that the murderers sought to\u00c2\u00a0extinguish. They will not succeed.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d’<\/p>\n
